Hi guys! Today marks a huge day for Polienne. I’m happy to announce that from now on I’ll be a part of the Creators of Desire team. Both Creators of Desire and Polienne have undergone a massive make-over, resulting in an inspiring platform for young ladies like you!

You can find my new blog HERE

My domain www.polienne.com is not yet working, but polienne.com should be reachable. I'm still working to fix the last problems! I sincerely hope that my loyal readers will celebrate this new direction with me, and that you will also enjoy the posts of my partners in crime Anouk, Lian and fashion editor Suzanne. So just to make sure: all of my posts will stay the same, you will just have about 10 times more inspiration! Happy dance!

Happy Monday, guys! Dealing with Mondays is usually desperately being avoided by yours truly, but I'm welcoming this one in particular with open arms! Exciting things are coming up this week, work wise, travel wise AND blog wise...

I'll be happy to tell you more about the latter two in a few days, but today will be all about me figuring out the adult life as a graduate. Next to exploring a super interesting book on personal branding, there are also a few very interesting meetings on my schedule today. I wish I could tell you more but everything is still very unclear, even to me! Keep a sharp eye on my blog and social media, that might help :-)

In the mean time, I can show you a new outfit though! I have told you about my staycation plans before, and I'm happy to report that they are going pretty darn good. Most of my friends are in town too, so we're having plenty of coffee dates, shopping sprees and parties together! We're hoping to do some day trips within Belgium or the Netherlands as well, so if you have some tips or ideas on what to visit, just shoot! I hope for some nice weather so I can bring this city version of a very Saint-Tropez-esque outfit along. Looking forward to your thoughts on it! Have a great day guys x

1. Tied up

Hey guys! Since I'm having a super lazy Sunday I figured that sharing some inspiration would be the most productive thing possible today! I collected my 3 favorite summer trends for you, including examples and tips on where to shop! Trend number one: gladiator sandals. The super elegant version, that is. The stores are flooded with this updated version of the ancient shoes, and although I didn't expect myself to, I do love them! Do watch out for the so-called sausage-effect...

2. Off-shouldered

The second trend that I'm loving this summer has already made two appearances on the blog: off-shouldered pieces! Not exactly the most practical thing when you're gifted with a D-cup but well, I don't really mind when a subtle bra tie is peeping out, so NO PROBLEM. These ladies all managed to wear this quite boho-inspired trend in a very fresh and minimalistic way: right up my alley! Can I have all the striped versions please?

3. Oversized

Probably my favourite trend one of the season ever... the bigger, the better! If you're a regular reader of my blog, this one comes as no surprise. In my last post you could find the perfect example of a piece that I wear on a daily base. I am however really coveting these glorious outfits as well, especially those in white... The hunt is ON!

Any favorites? Have you tried to incorporate a new hot trend in your wardrobe so far this summer?

Meet my favourite dress of the moment! I call it The Square. When browsing through clothing racks at a store lately I'm really drawn to huge, shapeless pieces of fabric that appear to be dresses. The bigger, the better! The award of favourite piece of fabric now goes to this super affordable H&M Trend dress. I've been living in this breezy thing for days now, and I even took it to Rock Werchter last week. It adds instant class, and only needs a few subtle accessories to really stand out.

Here I opted for a badass pair of graphic sunglasses, my fave bag and a pair of beautiful golden What For sandals. I always find it hard to fall in love with flat sandals, because I like them VERY basic. This model is definitely subtle, but has this glamourous touch that I really like when my skin is toned during summer. Score!

How do you feel about wearing the square? Do you prefer wearing more tight pieces?

Well helloooo guys! You've already seen a short photo diary of my Rock Werchter adventures but now it's time for the real deal. For 4 days I carried my little camera along to make a little video! Since it's my very first video ever (no talking yet, gotta get over my own voice!) my editing skills are not quite developed yet. I did really enjoy making it!

So, what do you think: more videos to come soon? Let me know in the comments! Have you been to Rock Werchter by the way?
